Tell us about yourself
I started my career at KPMG. After a few years, I moved to a wholesaler in home decoration, first as head of finance and then CFO with the responsibility of finance, HRM and ICT. I spent the next part of my career in various production organisations, where I as CFO led outsourcing of production to China, reorganisations and family buyouts. In 2007, I joined Betronic, an organisation that develops and produces electronics, first as CFO, then CEO from 2013 till 2020 and as CCO since 2021 as well as co-owner. Additionally, I now spend part of my time using my broad knowledge and experience in growing companies to help start- and scaleups.
Why did you want to join Masters of Scale?
I want to use my business and life experience to help other entrepreneurs grow.
Why are you passionate about entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship is the key to an exciting life! With risk and ups and downs your life will be very exciting.
What was the most defining moment in your career, and what did you learn from it?
I arranged several times a buy out and unfortunately also some reorganisations. During these periods I learned a lot about the behavior of people. That’s the most beautiful thing, work together with people to come to a succes.
What is your expertise and what are you known for?
My experience is in leadership, to help an organisation grow in finance, HRM, commercial and Sales.

In developing a product and bring it to mass production
