Looking back on your experiences, it’s easy to distill your lessons learned, especially when it comes to failures. When you are in the middle of it, not so much! Which is why we are lucky to have our Master Frank Visciano share his scaling lessons learned in this café session. Lessons like:
- Understand the human factor in your go-to-market plan
- Build a focused learning engine
- People respond to the frequency of change, not the magnitude
- Organizational change is not the answer, but people are
- Metrics matter, but ownership and focus matter more
Hopefully hearing Frank’s insights and stories on these topics will help you avoid some of the mistakes he made when starting and scaling multiple businesses.
Frank is a seasoned startup and scaleup leader with more than 15 years of experience across multiple functions, including operations, marketing, international expansion, product, strategy, business development, and finance. As an executive at the ed-tech marketplace Udemy, he helped scale the business from product-market fit to over 700 employees delivering several hundred million in revenue across 190 countries. He currently advises early stage (B2C and B2B) companies, helping them scale product-market fit across all facets of the business. He works across industries, with a specialization on topics such as go-to-market strategy (marketplace dynamics, supply strategy), international expansion (market selection, sequencing, staging), and organizational development (leadership coaching, org design).
Can’t wait to see you in our café!!
Please note that we do not record our sessions so that everyone feels comfortable to speak freely.
