Stephen has run operations in 40+ countries and has managed well over 1,000 employees, leading dozens of acquisitions and spin-offs across Europe and the US. He has scaled companies from a starter team of 5 to over 150 in less than 24 months, including engineering a reverse acquisition that saw the company scale even further.

In addition to a focus on scaling, international expansion, and turnaround/rescue, Stephen has spent the other half of his career providing response and/or specialty risk consulting for a range of companies worldwide. This includes intelligence, investigations, and high stakes negotiations involving cyber threats & ransom, fraud, shareholder disputes, sabotage, insider threats, corporate espionage, threats to life, fin crime, etc. Stephen has been entrusted to protect the interests of several major global banks, leading fintechs, insurance companies, one of the co- founders of Microsoft, various financial institutions, multinational law firms, NGOs, and governments, including back channel negotiations during a global conflict. He spent 2.5 years training an EU counter-terrorism team’s hostage negotiation unit, served as advisor and response lead on behalf of the US’ largest private company during and following a sabotage and complex insider threat campaign, and he has protected the interests of several Hollywood A-list celebrities and/or film/TV and music producers.
