Join this café session for an interactive discussion with Yvonne Greeuw and Martine Nieuwenhuizen from Delft Enterprises. They will give us a behind the scenes look into the role that organizations like Delft Enterprises play in bringing innovations from universities to market. How does it work, what goes well and what could go better? 

Yvonne joined Delft Enterprises in 2021 as Investment Manager and Innovation Scout with a special focus on Medical Technology and Sustainability. After obtaining her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at TU Delft, Yvonne founded the startup NearOnes, a mobile platform where people get help with any everyday task. At Delft Enterprises, she uses her entrepreneurial experiences to support new entrepreneurs with building their ventures. 

Martine Nieuwenhuizen works as Investment Manager at Delft Enterprises. After obtaining her masters degree in Notary Law at the Utrecht University and Tax Law at University of Amsterdam, Martine worked at PwC as tax lawyer and at PwC’s Academy. In 2015, Martine joined Delft Enterprises and she is responsible for spin-offs from idea phase till exit. Martine manages early-stage tech startups within the Circularity and Health domains with a special focus on law. 

Delft Enterprises participates in innovative, early stage and technology-based spin off companies of Delft University of Technology. They aim to empower and speed up the development of these startups, as part of the ambition of the university to turn scientific knowledge into economic and social value. They achieve this through investment, advice and a broad network of investors and experts.
